2010: January - September

Holy Crap, I can't believe I haven't posted at all this year!

There has been so much going on too.  Will get better at blogging, I promise.

In a nutshell:
  • Produced 2 films in January
  • Directed Anything Goes to 3/4 & 5 Star reviews in February
  • Lost weight
  • Divorce finally came through in April
  • Had a great open audition
  • Got put on anti-depressants in May (drama drama!)
  • Spent much of May working from my bed
  • Put on weight
  • Stopped feeling sorry for myself in June and hosted stuff in the EIFF (Film Festival)
  • Booked onto the Certificate in Forensic Science Course (starts October)
  • Lost weight
  • Put on weight
  • Performed in the Edinburgh Fringe
  • Booked to host events at ActorExpo (London, November)
  • Booked a director and co-producer to help with my one woman show
  • Decided to give my business a good go over the next 2 years and not neglect it anymore and try and get Actors Centre Scotland off the ground.
That, my friends, has been my life for the last few months!

There are not many people who can stay relatively sane having done the following:
  • got engaged
  • got married
  • set up a business
  • moved flat
  • moved office, twice
  • been served divorce papers...
...all in less than 2 years!

So in retrospect, the fact that I'm still alive and not a complete basket case (I said not COMPLETE basket case) should count for something.

Well, that's you all up to date.  Bet you can't wait for the next exciting installment!

Weird Dream

Last night I went back in time and couldn't get on FB, couldn't use a mobile and had to solve a serial killer murder before they would let me home.

Later,  I was running late for a cruise with my mum and sis and was crying because they wouldn't let me pack, so all I had on holiday were pants and tops that didn't fit me. I didn't have my medicine either so was sick as a dog the whole cruise! This was AFTER I'd solved the murder to get home!! Ooft! (ps I knew it was a dream cos my sister was wearing high heels!)

Oh yeah, and I dropped 2 plates of lobster and sweetcorn and had to go back for more at the buffet but the man on the counter knew my sister cos she'd tried to save the lobsters!
