ABOUT ME

Well, what can I say here?  My name is Helen and I'm mostly a bit of a twat.

I have fit a lot into my short life and have a list of many more things to do including:
(anything in blue is an update otherwise it's just a wishlist - I plan on doing it all!)
  • Cage diving with Great White Sharks in South Africa
  • Travel to the parts of the world I missed out on when I worked on cruise ships
  • Safari in Kenya - did one in September 2011 - was BRILLIANT!
  • Help build a school in Nairobi and visit the wee man I sponsor there - I visited an orphanage and school when I was there in 2011 and plan to go back and volunteer.
  • Complete my Forensics Certificate - PASSED - and graduated on 7th Sept 2011 :-)
  • Complete a 4 year BSc Hons Degree in Forensic Psychobiology - Graduated in July 2016 :-)
  • Change the entertainment industry for the better - I run the British Actors Network which is giving this a bloody good go!
  • Live on a barge - have done a weekend stay on a barge and now know that living on one is not for me!
  • Live in a converted lunatic asylum in the grounds of a cemetery or at least overlooking one
  • Spend a night in an actual haunted house - did the overnight Vaults in Edinburgh (close enough)
  • Solve a murder - worked on a live murder inquiry during 4th year at Uni.
  • Make enough money to pay my mum back everything I owe her.
  • Pay for my sister to go work with the Orangutangs in Borneo.
  • Have enough money to live in a wee house by the sea with loads of space to rescue cats and dogs and maybe the odd alpaca.
So, will this blog help me do it? Not likely!

Do I care if anyone reads it? Nah, not really!  But, if you do read it, I hope it will spur you on and remind you that when you are at your lowest, the only way to look is up.

This blog will have some serious stuff, some rants, much randomness and many weird dreams.

Who knows, one day it may form part of my autobiography!
